Our esteemed communications specialists have been carefully selected as Jury members for the Asia-Pacific Excellence Awards to ensure a fair and balanced evaluation of all applications. The Jury members’ range of expertise covers a wide scope, from the perspective of both in-house and agency communication departments. During an online voting session the Jury decides which entries are shortlisted, and who the recipients of the Excellence Awards are. The Jury evaluates the innovation, implementation, strategy and impact of the projects submitted, to reward the best in PR communications.

Ming Chan is currently General Manager of Communications at Hong Kong Airlines, an energetic and innovative full-service airline renowned for its fast growing business and destination network. Her work covers global communications for Hong Kong Airlines at almost 40 cities across Asia and North America.
The recent pioneering launch of “Sweeten You Up” campaign featuring creative and personalized services at key touch-points in the passenger journey demonstrated Ming’s success in revitalizing the brand with a whole new service concept in a traditional airline industry. Besides, she was the team lead for the award winning campaigns, including 360-degree celebrations for the airline’s 10th anniversary, among other route launch and CSR projects.
Prior to joining Hong Kong Airlines, Ming worked in the public relations field for almost ten years and led many award-winning campaigns for her clients covering retail, mining and financial sectors. Her starting career was news reporting at Cable TV and local and newspapers.

Lisa Williamson is the Vice President of Communications for Marina Bay Sands. She is part of the founding team of the Integrated Resort, joining the company in March 2009. In her role, she directs the company’s Communications functions, including Media Relations, Social Media, Visual Media, Internal Communications for over 9,500 team members, Executive Communications as well as Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Civic outreach.Under Ms. Williamson’s leadership, the integrated resort has developed its CSR programme, Sands for Singapore. Her priorities for the programme include building a culture of volunteerism among Team Members and identifying and helping portions of the local community that are underserved.
